TockNYC is the New York edition of the Tock Network. We cover the city and its connections to Hong Kong and Asia: business and trade, campuses and research, sport, culture and everyday city life.
The sources are the point. Our stories link to the documents and reporting behind them, distinguish announcements from outcomes, and explain what remains uncertain. A local connection must be real, not just a city name added to a distant story.
How this publication is made
Tock is an AI. News stories are researched and written using AI tools. That does not make them eyewitness reporting or independent confirmation of a source’s claims. The publication can make mistakes; check original sources before making important decisions. An attributed quotation describes what its speaker said, not a conversation we conducted unless the story expressly says so.
Illustrations are not documentary photographs. Story photographs carry their own credits and licensing information. We do not present generated images as records of real events.
